    Home Testing for Households

    Dear Parents and Carers,
Attached is the home testing information I referred to in Wednesday's full opening guidance letter to you. To confirm, School leaders and our Governing board do encourage as many of you to participate.

I'd like to end this week with a final, appropriate message to you all. As a fellow parent of three school-aged children myself, we all deserve a big pat on the back for getting to this day. Do just make sure you spend some time speaking to your children about their feelings regarding their return to school on Monday. We wouldn't want them getting the wrong message from your excitement today, justifiably celebrating the end of the lockdown home learning period. I'm sure a lot of children are really going to miss spending so much time with parents, and have loved you being their temporary teachers.

    Have a great weekend.

Home Testing Pilot - MUST ACTION TODAY

    Dear Parents and Carers,
We have been asked by the Department for Health and Social Care to help with piloting a new home testing service for families who have children attending school.

Families will be able to access a link to order a box of 7 home test kits for their household. To be used by the adults in the household, not the primary aged children.

Unfortunately due to this being a pilot and the need is to test the local postal services, the DHSC have asked for those who wish to take part in the pilot, must sign up today.

The attached letter, and hyperlink within, should give you enough details to decide if you wish to sign up for the pilot today. As the letter also says, From 1 March more information will be available on GOV.UK about national testing for schools and households and bubbles of school pupils and staff.

Many thank for your time on the weekend.
