Our School’s Ethos and Values
We are a Church of England School where our pupils learn within a Christian environment, developing an understanding of the values and teachings of the church, as well as a knowledge of and respect for all religions, faiths and cultures.
We will teach Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural development in line with the British values and our school’s core Christian values. These are: Respect, Honesty, Endurance, Thankfulness, Compassion and Responsibility.
Working closely with Parents, Governors and the wider community, we provide a caring, secure and happy environment where every child matters and where all children will be nurtured and guided to fulfil and develop a thirst for learning.
Through creative teaching and an exciting, broad and deep ‘child centred curriculum’ we provide opportunities and support so that all our children are inspired to develop enquiring minds, laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and a determination to achieve their full potential.
Our School Aims

…. To provide all children with a sound understanding of Christian values while developing a respect for other religions, faiths and cultures.
