Dear Parents and Carers,
With more families walking to school across the pandemic, we have noticed some parents attempting to bring dogs on to the school site during the drop-off and pick-up periods.
It is a blanket policy across schools nationally, not to allow dogs on a school site. This is to ensure, children and staff are not exposed to pet allergies and our children feel safe (those with a fear of dogs).
School leaders will insist that dogs are left outside of the premise, even if you feel they are small enough to carry.
