Dear YEAR 2 Parent/Carer,
We have received confirmation from Miss Edwards (Y2 class teacher) that she has tested Positive to her PCR COVID19 test. This therefore confirms that your child will need to remain in isolation for the 10 days, starting the day after their last contact with Miss Edwards (Friday 2nd July). Year 2 children must stay in self-isolation up to and including Monday 12th July. Your child will be returning to school on Tuesday 13th July.
Please ensure you have read all parts of the self-isolation letter sent to you on Sunday 4th July, giving you all the details needed in case your child develops symptoms etc.
Although we do not normally disclose the identity of positive cases, Miss Edwards has kindly agreed to you knowing. Great thanks needs to be given to Mrs Atwal and Miss Hill, who have created the home learning plans on top of their already busy end of year commitments. Mrs Atwal will be monitoring the Year 2 class email account regularly, to support parents with home learning questions/queries.
