Dear Parents/Carers,
With our two bubble closures and the NHS app's contact tracing - we currently have 25% of our staffing team in self-isolation. As you can imagine, this is placing tremendous strain on our staff to cover posts, supervision duties and do their absolute best to commit to end of year events.
School leaders have assessed that our spectator groups will be able to join us, as planned, for our Sports Afternoons. However, please check this School app for on-the-day messages in case we have to cancel. With our current staffing numbers, 3 of our 4 Sports Afternoons have no reserve staff available - we therefore must hope for no more staff absences.
Here are some final details to share with you before the School Sports Afternoons:
1) Spectators will be welcomed between 1.25pm and 1.35pm. You will be placed in groups of 30 max and taken to a designated zone, where you must remain for the event.
2) There will be no toilet access during the event.
3) We expect most of the Afternoons to finish by 2.45pm. Spectators will be able to remain in the spectator zones until 3pm or you will be free to go offsite and return for our staggered home time (3.00 to 3.20).
A final reminder, please ensure your child has a water bottle, with their name on it, for their event day.
