Dear Year 4 Parents/Carers,
Year 4 will be learning how to play the recorder in their music lessons.
The children will be taught for free, every Friday, by an Essex Music Service tutor.
It is necessary for each child to have their own recorder to use in lessons and also to practise at home. Although the first lesson is this Friday, we understand that this is not enough notice for most parents to purchase a recorder. We do have some school recorders that children can borrow for this week and of course, can be used in following weeks if children do not get their own. School recorders are cleaned after each use.
Recorders can be purchased online or at various shops.
