Dear Parents/Carers,

As you may be aware, the NEU have two more strike days scheduled for this Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May. 

Our NEU teachers, at this moment in time, have not shared with school leaders, if they intend to strike. .

So, what does this mean for the school? With a no notice strike, we will be notifying you at 8.35am, at the latest, on strike days, via our School Jotter app, confirming if we have any class closures. I will of course give you notice before this if I am given early confirmation myself of teachers striking or not. 

On the two strike days above, please do plan for your child to attend school on time. However, do make sure you have childcare arrangements in place in case we do have to close your child's class for the day.

As a parent community, I can only thank you for the understanding you showed the school, across the February and March strike days. We do all we can to work with you and place the children first in all decisions made.
