Dear Parents/Carers,
Our Behaviour Policy has been revised to remain in line with up-to-date Government guidance. Please follow the link below to take you to our Policy webpage, where you'll be able to download and read the new policy version.
You are being notified of this change to the Behaviour policy as it is a legal requirement for schools to have their Behaviour Policy available to all who wish to read it.
Our Harmony and Safety rules and how staff respond to good behaviour and misbehaviour have remained the same (with the exception of Marvellous Me no longer being used in the school as a positive reward system). Therefore the changes made that children will notice are minor.
Regarding letters of misbehaviour coming home to parents, we have now streamlined this to one letter - notifying you if your child has received a STOP TIME for the day. The 'Thinking Time' letter has been removed, as our behaviour lead will analyse misbehaviour not classed as 'serious misbehaviour', with the class teacher and if required, a meeting will be requested for you to speak to your child's class teacher for support.
