Dear Years 3 and 4 Families,
Tomorrow (Friday 6th June), we will be going for a walk in the local forest to inspire our creative writing. We will be creating a mood boards with images, words and phrases to support us when writing setting descriptions of a woodland in our traditional tales.
Please can children have a change of shoes as the forest floor will be wet and muddy. Can children also wear a long sleeve jacket or jumper too keep warm and protect from branches or gnats. We will still carry out the walk in light rain but if the weather is too poor we may have to postpone this activity.
