Dear Families,
We are excited to announce the return of this year's summer reading challenge! This year's Challenge theme, Story Garden, is an enchanting take on nature and the great outdoors. Through reading, children will uncover magical creatures, vibrant plants, and enchanting landscapes.
Last year we had record numbers of pupils from our school signing up, and we won the trophy for most participants amongst local schools. This year we want to encourage even more children to get involved.
You can sign up in any Essex Library or even online following the web link below.
It is scary for us, as teachers, how much children's reading levels go back over the summer if they are not reading regularly. Please support your child to keep reading by signing them up and taking part.
