Dear Families,
The school has monitored over recent weeks the increase in parents entering the Staff Carpark to drop off their children for morning clubs. The carpark gates are open for ease of access to our staff only.
For safety concerns, from next Monday, the gates will be closed for most of the morning - and will only open for a short period of time when most of our staff arrive. If the gate is open, please do not enter and park - the carpark is a staff only area for safety reasons and is not designed as a drop off location.
In addition, can we give a gentle reminder - we have children approaching our school from as early as 7.30am for Shine Clubs start. Therefore, it is important that no parent parks in front of the school gates to drop off children from this time. Parking in this area causes unnecessary risks to our children arriving at school and it must stop before an inevitable accident takes place. Although the sign restricts this from 8am, we would ask all parents to be considerate of this rule from 7.30am for the reasons mentioned above.
