Dear Parents/Carers,
Below are the P.E days for your child's class from January (Spring Term):
Reception - Wednesdays
Year 1 – Tuesdays and Fridays
Year 2 – Mondays and Wednesdays
Year 3 – Mondays and Wednesdays
Year 4 (Class 4B – Miss Burdett) – Wednesdays and Thursdays
Year 4 (Class 4G – Miss Geddis) – Wednesdays and Thursdays
Year 5 – Mondays and Wednesdays
Year 6 - Mondays and Wednesdays
Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 Weekly Cross Country P.E. Sessions
As is our usual practice in the Spring Term, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be doing Cross Country for PE. This will take place on either the school field or the local woods, depending on the lesson to be taught or practised. It will take place on WEDNESDAY each week. Children should wear their PE kits on Wednesdays each week and bring extra layers as necessary to ensure they are warm enough, depending on the weather. Children MUST have a suitable pair of trainers that can get muddy and a pair of 'clean' shoes to change into. We also recommend hats, gloves and jogging bottoms (not shorts). We will begin this unit on the first Wednesday of term, 7th January.
