Dear Year 5 and 6 Parents/Carers,
Year 5 and 6 will be learning how to use models to represent the Solar System and planets next week in science. We will be looking at size, position and speed.
Please could your child bring in one or two spherical objects from home which they will use in a small groups to create a model of the Solar System. Items will be used only during the lesson so will be coming back home on the same day. Please make sure your child doesn't bring anything in of value as the school will not be accountable for any accidental damage.
Year 5 will be carrying this lesson out on Tuesday.
Year 6 will be carrying out this lesson on Thursday.
