Dear Parents and Carers,
We have noticed a significant increase in children bringing personal toys, including "squishies" and fidget items, into school from home. These items are not permitted in our school and we ask that you check your child's bag and remind them not to bring them in.
These items can and have caused distractions in the classroom and disagreements during break times.
We understand that some children require fidget items to support their learning needs. Please be assured that:

Any specific learning or sensory needs are already identified by our teaching staff.

The school provides appropriate sensory items for these children to use when appropriate.
We kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring these items stay at home.
