Dear Families,
With the MET Office extreme heat warning now extending into Friday, we have made the decision to include this Friday 26th June as an optional early pick up day to collect your child(ren) from school.
You will have the option to collect your child(ren) from 1.30pm onwards up to normal home time at 3.20pm.
Due to the optional pick up on Friday, please also note the following:
- Shine Clubs will not be open for Thursday and Friday after school sessions
- Friday's Year 1 celebration assembly will be rescheduled - we will inform you of the new date via our School Jotter app in the next few days
- Friday's non-uniform day and Tombola donations will be rescheduled - we will inform you of the new date via our School Jotter app in the next few days
- Year 1 parents will have their drop-in session to meet Miss Fletcher (the class teacher for next year) moved to 1.30pm-1.45pm on Friday 26th June - Miss Fletcher will be in the school Hall
If you are collecting your child on Thursday or Friday this week between 1.30pm to 3.20pm, then please follow the instructions below so that you are not on the school site for longer than is needed to collect your child(ren):
1. Years 1 and 2 parents will come through the main office entrance and collect their child(ren) from the internal classroom door area. Please leave the school the way you came in and do not enter the actual classrooms please.
2. All other Year Groups will walk around the pathway to the external classroom doors for your child's class. Again, once you have collected your child, please leave via the external footpath and do not stay on site longer than you need to.
All children who remain at school after 1.30pm, will have calming activities to do in their classrooms.
