Dear Families
We are excited to share with you information around this year’s Summer Reading Challenge — Read to the Beat!
The children should be coming home with a small information ticket today. This event takes place across all Essex Libraries, so you can visit your nearest branch to take part.
As we know, reading is key to children's educational journeys and vocabulary development. Keeping them reading over the summer is vital to ensure those hard-earned skills keep bubbling over the break!
The Challenge

What to do: Visit your local library and read 6 books over the summer.

The Reward: Anyone who completes the challenge will be awarded a certificate and a medal, which we would love to celebrate in school come September!

How to join: You can sign up online or at any Essex library.
