Please see the below message in regards to the newly set up Department for Education Coronavirus Helpline.
Before reading the below details on the helpline, may I also remind all parents that as promised, I will update you with information as and when we are advised to by: the DfE, Local Authority and/or Public Health England.
A gentle but firm reminder - it is not acceptable to challenge school staff on the matter - we are not medically trained and so we rely on guidance in keeping our children and staff safe. We are doing all that we have been advised to do by our governing partners - so please have respect for our role in this matter. Your children come first in all that we do.

Today, we have launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:

Email: DfE.coronavirushelpline@education.gov.uk
Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
• No school should close in response to a suspected (or confirmed) COVID-19 case unless directed to do so by Public Health England.
